No running today. I am resting for tomorrow race so that I will be 100%.
I m really getting nervous about the race. I have felt a lot of pressure, because a lot of people are counting on me to do well. I almost wish I hadn't signed up for the race.
Last night, my uncle took us all to a "Steamboat Restaurant" for dinner. He said I needed to eat a lot for my race on Saturday. It was deliciousl . It was a buffet restaurant. The steemboat is a pot with broth inside. You can put the broth that you want in your pot, and around the pot is like a place like a mongolia barbeque where you can barbeque. You get all the vegetables that you want and different kinds of meats that you want and either cook them in the broth or barbeque them. It was great! The best part was that they had "BEETS". My favorite vegetable is beets. I usually have beets every day either cooked or pickled, but I haven' had any in Singapore. Last night there were beets, so I ate lots of them. I have read that beets are a "super food" for endurance, and that your endurance will greatly improve if you eat beets.
Time to go to school.
